With the construction of the La Central Shopping Center, the sector of Buenos Aires in Medellin is being transformed, given that with the services offered it is possible to integrate the social needs of the sector and to potentiate the different commercial activities of the area.
The sustainability strategies implemented in this building range from the efficient use of water through sanitary saving equipment, to a hanging garden where you can see about 45 species of tropical plants. Among other sustainable characteristics are the integration of a rainwater management plan, the improvement of pedestrian paths and the installation of solar panels.
This building is in the process of achieving LEED® Core & Shell certification.
