SUMAC provided sustainability consulting services for the Portofino project, located in Miraflores, Lima, Peru, with the goal of accompanying the obtainment of LEED Silver certification under the LEED BD+C v4 system.

The project is a 10-story multifamily building with a rooftop and 4 basement levels, incorporating bicycle parking, solar panels, drip irrigation with treated water, and efficient faucets. The consulting allowed implementing energy and water efficiency strategies, achieving 17.7% energy savings and 52.55% water savings, as well as the recovery of more than 75% of construction waste, consolidating a high-standard sustainable residential development.
